The guards took Mr. Nguyen returned to meet his cousins and attempted to file a formal complaint and police report. The Las Vegas PD replied that there was nothing they could do because there is no evidence, even though there were security cameras in the elevator and hotel. Nguyen could have been responsible for his own injuries. Please help me by making this story known to the general public. There cannot be injustice like this in the world and no consequences for such hateful acts of violence.
Bottle service through VIP service or don't go. I went to the Marquee to see ATB as one last exciting memorable experience before deploying to Afghanistan for a year. I can tell you up front that the only way to do the Marquee is to pick a date that there will be a DJ that you want to see, buy tickets for that DJ from the Marquee website and then get bottle service so you're treated like an actual human being. I bought my ATB tickets online several weeks before showing up.
We picked our tickets up and showed up several hours early to the club as I knew it would be packed. Unfortunately for me this is where I realized how tiny the actual club was. The layout is a little confusing and it seemed a little crazy to get into having to go up a ton of stairs don't recommend women wear heels here or pack a pair of flats The Marquee is actually made up of several different floors with varying music on each but where they seem to draw the biggest crowd is for their EDM events with big name DJs like ATB, Tiesto etc.
There are three locations on the main dance floor, the cabana by the outdoor pool gives an awesome beachy vibe even at night , the hallway area and the main dance floor. I quickly realized that this was going to be an extremely lame experience if we didn't get a table because I saw at least 10 people get thrown out of the club for what the bouncers called "malingering" basically just standing outside and talking while waiting for the main DJ to come on.
If you aren't spending money or dancing they don't want you there. I went inside and found Sonny, one of the club's hosts, and told him my situation. I explained that I was in the military about to deploy to Afghanistan, that I wanted to make it a memorable night with my group and asked him what he could do for us.
He came back and explained that there were three options. It bought us a corner seat that could probably fit about 8 people in our sectioned off area which was nice but random guys kept creeping over into our area it's inevitable the cheapskates will try to mooch off everyone there the good thing was that the bouncer was very attentive and set them in line right away.
I was a little upset that after my initial interaction with Sonny and asking him to find me some ladies on the dance floor to keep me Company in our area I said I wanted it to be memorable remember? I ended up having to do my own scouting out which made me feel less like a VIP and more like a creeper "Hey I'm a random dude, want to come back to my table, I have alcohol".
For those kinds of prices and for what The Marquee advertises itself as they definitely seem to be all over the place with their business practices. If I'm paying VIP prices I expect everything to be spot on and prompt, I also expect to be able to dance on the dance floor not just stand there and rub up against people because that's the only movement I'm capable of without being crushed to death.
For such an expensive self-proclaimed upscale club the actual dance area is microscopic and since all they care about is cash literally every inch of space from the hallway to the dancefloor including the bathrooms has a person or two in it. I think with some better population control, more honest business practices in terms of how they treat their VIPs I've read a lot of reviews from people about being put on the guest list, including hotel guests!
I'd say over all it's a 3. So to recap: 1 Have a group of at least people if you want to go here so you can alleviate the cost per person. You just won't feel as exclusive with a table right next to the dance floor. I recommend doing research into one of these companies as their reputation is everything to them and they seem to have established relationships with these clubs and are able to pre-negotiate a better deal for you so you literally can see the cost and pay up front and not worry about feeling ripped off.
Mike T Burlington, Canada 63 contributions. Marquee is hands down the best nightclub in Las Vegas on Monday night and beyond.
We were guests at the hotel and got free entry with a line bypass in front of easily over people which made us feel very VIP from the very beginning of our experience. The bar service was fast for such a packed club but did slow down a little once it got very busy by the end of the night time for us to leave anyways! We saw the DJ Dash Berlin and the dance floor was filled up pretty quickly. Great party vibe all around, reminds me of going to a rock show. There is TONS of booths in the club and I would definitely get one next time I come back, not a lot of standing room near the end of the night.
The crowd at the nightclub is definitely more high end with their attire as well as the drinks are pricy but hey that's Las Vegas for you. All in all this is the best nightclub in Las Vegas for hotel guests and tourists alike. All the staff from the security to the bar tenders were top notch and made our Las Vegas Nightclub experience something to truly remember. Will be back for sure next time we are in Vegas! No lie. We have copies of the merchant and customer copy receipts, and the merchant copy is a complete forgery.
The Marquee managers won't refund the tip and stand by their shady and deceitful server Shannon J. Be careful at this place, they employ people who think it's okay to do this. Credit card company is still dealing with this, and the sad thing is, we are probably one in a large number of people who fell victim to this scam. Racist staff with no explanation. Bouncer would not allow me in because he said he had enough people of my kind already in the club.
I have never been so direspected frim any staff in my entire life. Espana15 Tucson, AZ 2 contributions. Horrible and Dangerous New Year's Experience. It was super dangerous - you couldn't move, breathe, leave, go forward, go back - all the while security was yelling as us to stay within the boundaries. I am sure they violated their city of Las Vegas capacity code - it was a horrible experience.
Whomever planned or executed this event needs to be fired. Footprints 7 contributions. Dayclub disaster - triple check your bill! We stayed at the amazing Cosmo the first weekend in March which happened to be the opening weekend for Marquee Dayclub.
The weather was in our favor so my fiance and I decided to check it out on Saturday and ended up getting a daybed for the 2 of us. The day itself was fun with decent entertainment and drinks, but I would never go back- Encore is WAY more fun. No one seem shocked which means they do this all the time assuming drunk people won't notice. Needless to say it took a month of fighting with cosmo and marquee to get our money back and they still expected us to pay!
Karma works in mysterious ways now that this low class establishment is permanently closed for a few months :. If you ever wanted to be racially profiled This place sucks azz. My friend was racially profiled when he was coming out of the bathroom and "forced" into a back room by Marquee security.
He was searched for drugs, none were found. No apology for mistaken identity -- nor have they to date refunded his money. Whatever you do, don't go there. Seems to be "for whites only" Not worth the hype - skip it for something better. Get Directions. Instagram Facebook Youtube Twitter. Marquee Las Vegas. Featured Events.
